Teaching

Tracy is an experienced teacher and tutor, with a wealth of skills, expertise and creativity in the field of traditional embroidery and contemporary stitched textiles. She has taught locally, nationally and internationally since her freelance career started in 2001.

She is teacher trained, with twenty years of teaching practice, passionate about sharing her knowledge, and working and training with the skills of her students.

Within her studio, Tracy is able to offer a variety of learning from traditional techniques, to creative design based courses, which include one to two day workshops, to shorter one week long courses, and longer one or two year part-time courses.

Furthermore, Tracy continues to learn herself, ever improving her own artistic skills, creativity and vision for reinvention, which enriches her teaching and instructions further which she imparts on her students.

If you are interested in booking Tracy for a workshop, then please contact teaching@tracyafranklin.com Please note, that due to many commitments, booking can be limited.

Fees are currently £180.00 per day plus travelling expenses of 45 pence per mile, with mileage and fuel allowances set by the Inland Revenue.
