This technique incorporates soft dull coloured two ply crewel wool, worked upon a linen twill fabric using various shades within a colour normally greens, blues, browns and reds worked within a design based on nature, traditionally based on the tree of life.

One day workshop
Within one day students will learn how to transfer a design onto linen twill fabric and work a variety of stitches including satin stitch, French knots using two ranges of Jacobean colours within one of the symbols of the tree of life.

|
|
Two to three day workshop
A choice of designs based on the tree of life incorporating long and short shading, block shading and bullion knots worked on linen twill fabric and using two ranges of colour of the crewel wool.
