Medieval Man
Approximately 11cm by 8cm and worked in 2003 as a design for a kit.
Worked on calico, the halo is worked in stem stitch and couching using gold threads, with the face in fine stitch and the hair also in stem stitch using stranded cotton.

Medieval Lettering and Border
Approximately 5cm by 10cm and worked in 2003 as a design for a kit.
Lettering worked in split stitch on cloth of gold. The border is crouched with 'or nuè' or crouching with colour work.

These leaves are embroidered freely using surface stitching and metal threads. The gold paper is held in place with running stitches and spirals of metal thread are stitched on top.
