Whitework contemporary

Contemporary Whitework embroidery includes all the techniques of traditional whitework embroidery including, Broderie Anglaise, Richelieu cutwork embroidery, Drawn thread work, Pulled work, and shadow work.

Contemporary whitework uses unconventional materials, threads and fabrics whilst still working within the boundaries of traditional whitework techniques, giving interesting textures, surfaces and embellishments.
