Canvas work, which is sometimes referred to as tapestry work, can be worked with a variety of even weave canvases with a variety of wools and threads. The stitches come in a variety of forms either straight stitches, cross stitches, diagonal stitches, etc.

One day workshop
A one day set design working a variety of stitches with different threads on a 14 threads to the inch even weave canvas. A 10cm square will be worked using different colours of own choice.
|
|
|
Two to three day workshop
A choice of designs will be given to work a 20cm square on 14 threads to the inch even weave canvas. A variety of threads will be used including wool, stranded cotton, and metallic threads worked with a variety of stitches. Shading with the threads will also be taught giving a more visual effect.
